“Bryce operates a reputable business and delivers solid results. My wife has validated mold toxicity from two separate blood tests over a 9 month period. I was facing close to $40,000 of mold remediation in my house, desperate to find whatever mold there might be wherever it might be hidden. I had already replaced a faulty HVAC in the attic, as well as some rotten roof joists under a leak. Thinking I got it all, some experts were quoting $5000 just to poke a million holes in my wall and look. The doctor said “just replace all the carpets.” That’s a $20G proposition these days! This dry-fog technology uses FDA approved chemicals, and was tested by the Army Corps of Engineers (!). The fog gets into every nook and cranny of the house, ventilation system, even penetrates through drywall (due to microscopic particle size under pressure) and into carpets. it’s a blue ridge mall into useless fragments upon contact. The only downside is that we had to be out of the house for seven or so hours, while the fog is applied and left in place, section by section of your house. (We have a big house, so smaller houses would go faster.) No need to cover up food or the lake, since it is a dry fog of hydrogen peroxide and the acid in vinegar. it sure beats over-spending on mold testing (which this company will do just to identify necessary areas to target)! The before- and after-tests demonstrate actual results, or he re-applies it until all mold is gone (sans any stray particles that float in from outdoors). We had a phenomenal nights rest after he fogged it. Can’t speak highly enough of this technology and company.”

He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in providing quick tips to prevent moisture and humidity. Since he was already here I asked him to check the downstairs living area which has not been used for most of the summer. The humidity was even higher downstairs and there were visible signs of mold in the kitchen area. We decided to have the dry fogging process done to kill the mold and improve the air quality. “I had an end unit townhome on the market for sale and the first contract was voided after the home inspection revealed there was moisture inside the vanity in the lower level powder room. I called in Bryce Rogers to evaluate what was going on and he was the ultimate professional. Using a thermal imaging camera, he was able to detect exactly where the water was getting into the foundation and eliminate the rest of the room. So we did not have to do a full rehab. He suggested a general contractor he has worked with over the years, Ron Payne, and his crew removed the old vanity and opened the wall behind it. See photos. Bryce and Ron evaluated what they found behind the open wall and determined what needed to be done to seal the wall and leave the powder room dry. Once that work was finished, it was time to remediate the mold. The buyer's mold company wanted to tear everything out and rebuild, at a cost of 3-4 times higher than Pure Maintenance DC to treat the area. Then the buyer's mold company came in to do an air quality test and had results back in a couple of days. Mold was everywhere!!! But Pure Maintenance had also taken air samples and sent them to a lab that actually put them into a perfect growing environment, to see if there were any LIVE mold spores. Not a single one. The other mold test simply looked at the mold spores and determined they were there - but not if they were active and alive.”
